Coquitlam RCMP invite the public to sign a condolence book for Cst. David Wynn

Coquitlam - It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Cst. David Wynn, who was shot in the line of duty January 17, 2015. As a way to express our support to Cst. Wynn’s family and friends, and to our RCMP family in St. Albert, the Coquitlam RCMP has set up condolence books at our Main Detachment and Community Police Stations in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam

Coquitlam RCMP renew call for witnesses in unsolved homicides from 1993

Coquitlam - In the early hours of October 31, 1993 a fire was deliberately started with accelerants in the lobby of the Bel-Air Manor apartment complex at 2191 Tyner Street. Sadly, two residents from different suites, 65 year-old Agda Easingwood and 20 year-old Valerie Diner, became trapped in the hallway filled with heavy smoke.

Theft of tires and wheels prompt Mounties to ask for public assistance

Coquitlam - Since October 2014, the Coquitlam Mounties have investigated over 30 reports of tire and wheel thefts. The thefts have been occurring overnight. Full-size pick-ups are the general target with a specific focus on trucks with aftermarket rims.
