How do I obtain a criminal record check/police certificate or fingerprinting service?

Criminal Record Checks, Canadian Police Certificates for Visa Applicants/Foreign Travel/Foreign Work Permits and Fingerprinting Service are now provided by your local RCMP detachment or police department. To process your request, we'll require the following documents from you:

  1. Original document of:
    • one government piece of ID with photo, name, address (e.g .drivers licence, BC Identification Card),  OR
    • two pieces of authorized ID, both with your name and one including address (e.g. health care card, utility bill).

    and

  2. Paperwork from the second party who is requiring the Police Clearance Certificate (e.g. Consulate, agency, foreign employer).
