Police search for answers in the disappearance of Maddy Scott

Vanderhoof

File # 2011-1508
2018-05-25 07:57 PDT

On Friday May 27th, 2011, 20-year-old Madison Scott attended a party at Hogsback Lake, a Forest Service Campsite located approximately 25 kilometers South of Vanderhoof. Maddy drove her white 1990 Ford F150 pick-up truck, pitched her tent and was camping there with a group of new friends, from Vanderhoof. They were celebrating a birthday and around 4 AM on May 28th 2011 everyone but Maddy left. She remained on her own in her tent.

On May 28th, 2011, something occurred between 4 am - 8:30 a.m. that led to Maddyʼs disappearance. It has been 7 years and, despite a vigorous and in depth RCMP investigation and ongoing efforts by family and friends, Maddy remains missing. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
