2019-06-20 12:03 PDT
Four years after he was last seen, Burnaby RCMP is once again asking for the public’s help in locating 53-year-old missing Burnaby resident, George Lorry Wood.
George was the subject of a missing person’s appeal in February 2016, unfortunately that appeal did not result in any investigative leads.
George was last seen on June 20, 2015 after being dropped off at Surrey Central Skytrain Station. Since then police have not had any confirmed sightings of George. Through our investigation we have received some information that George may have made his way to Vancouver Island after he was last seen.
George is described as:
- Aboriginal male
- 5’9 tall
- 166 lbs
- Brown hair
- Brown eyes
When last seen George was wearing:
- Jeans with a black belt and silver buckle
- Green and white plaid shirt (same shirt as pictured above)
- Possible carrying a red backpack
George’s family and police are continuing to ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts come forward, says Corporal Daniela Panesar with Burnaby RCMP.
