Two vehicle collision on July 9th in Armstrong sends toddler to hospital

On July 9th 2016 at approximately 1:20 P.M. North Okanagan RCMP were called to the intersection of Hwy 97A and Harding Rd in Armstrong for a two vehicle collision.

A woman driving a Toyota Corolla attempted to make a left-hand turn onto the highway and was struck by an oncoming Ford Explorer.

The female driver and two children in the SUV were transported to Vernon Jubilee Hospital by BC Ambulance Service with minor injuries.

A toddler in the Corolla was transported to VJH with life threatening injuries, subsequently transferred to BC Children's Hospital and is now in stable condition.

North Okanagan RCMP Traffic Services is continuing to investigate this collision. No charges have been laid at this time
