Drug Traffickers Not Welcome in White Rock

White Rock RCMP have a strong message for drug traffickers: If you deal drugs in White Rock you are not welcome here. Prepare to be arrested. We will not tolerate the misery and pain you are bringing into our community. states Staff Sergeant Daryl Creighton, White Rock RCMP Detachment Commander.

Creighton’s message comes on the heels of significant street level drug seizures and arrests that have occurred in the recent months in White Rock. Over the course of the last several months, White Rock RCMP have arrested four individuals, and seized cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and carfentanil in an amount equivalent to 1500 doses. Amongst those arrested are a 38 year male from Surrey, BC, and a 33 year old male from White Rock, BC.

The investigations in each of these cases remain active and ongoing and to date, the arrested individuals have not yet been charged, as such their identities cannot be released. Upon completion of these investigations, the White Rock RCMP will submit a fulsome report to Crown Counsel for their consideration of charges.

Laboratory results associated to drugs seized during these investigation have detected a number of opioids, which the BC Coroner has linked to the possible overdose and/or death, in a report issued last week.

The White Rock RCMP remains committed to finding, identifying and arresting anyone involved in drug trafficking in our community.
