Taxi rollover

On September 17, 2020 at approximately 12:30 PM, Whistler RCMP and Whistler Fire responded to a report of a rolled over vehicle at the intersection of Highway 99 and Panorama Ridge, Whistler, BC. Police have learned that the driver was travelling southbound on Hwy 99 when he lost directional control resulting in the vehicle rolling over and the driver becoming trapped. The driver, a 68 year old male from Whistler, was successfully removed from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

Theft and mischief to sign

On September 14, 2020 the Nita Lake Lodge reported that one of their unique signs had been damaged and stolen. Police learned that on September 12, 2020 at approximately 01:00 AM unknown suspects accessed the back patio area of the lodge and damaged and stole portions of the Nita sign that had been on the back patio of the lodge for some time. The Whistler RCMP continue to investigate this incident and are asking for the publics help in identifying the individual or individuals that are responsible.
