On August 19th, the Comox Valley RCMP Inspector, Tim Walton brought ‘Coffee with a Cop’ to the Hornby Island RCMP detachment, for his annual visit.

With coffee and treats in tow, Inspector Tim Walton travelled over to the island to meet with residents and visitors. To have the chance to get out and meet with the public is great, especially when I get to travel over to Hornby Island, one of the more secluded detachment areas we cover, stated Comox Valley RCMP Detachment Commander, Inspector Tim Walton.

Along with the coffee and treats, there were also stickers, tattoos and other items handed out to the kids.

The Comox Valley RCMP would like to thank Comox Valley Tim Hortons and Hornby Island’s Cardboard House Bakery for their assistance with ‘Coffee with a Cop, Hornby Island’
