Pedestrian involved collision on Halloween

The Prince George RCMP are continuing to investigate following a pedestrian involved motor vehicle incident on Halloween evening.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. on Saturday October 31, 2020, police received a report from paramedics advising that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle near the corner of Wiebe Road and Sanderson Road in Prince George.

Frontline officers arrived on scene and identified a full size pick-up and driver involved. The driver remained on scene and called 9-1-1. The injured adult male pedestrian was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Witness statements have been obtained and evidence has been gathered from the scene. Alcohol or speed are not believed to be factors. The investigation is continuing.
