Update on November 21 shooting in Aldergrove

The Langley RCMP’s Serious Crime Section continues their investigation into the shooting incident that occurred on November 21, 2019 (see original release below) in the 26900 block of 48 Avenue in Aldergrove. There has been continuous police presence near the property and surveillance cameras have been installed in support of maintaining public safety.
Given the targeted nature of this incident, police do not feel there is a danger to the public.

Police were called just before 6:00 this morning to the area and a 47 year old male was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lower Mainland Police Dog Services and the Emergency Response Team are both on scene to assist with the investigation.
The shooting is believed to be targeted and Langley RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has assumed conduct of the investigation. Currently, officers are conducting neighbourhood and video canvass.
