Langley Drug Section taking drugs off the street

As a result of an investigation initiated by Langley Drug Section, a surveillance operation was conducted. As a result of this operation, a search warrant was obtained for a vehicle and a residence in Langley where an amount of cocaine, cash and corroborating evidence consistent with trafficking were found.

The search warrant executed on April 15th on a residence in the 20300 block of 38A Avenue. A vehicle departing the residence was also searched and Trafficking quantities of cocaine were located along with packaging materials, digital scale and a significant quantity of currency.

A 45-year-old male was arrested and released from custody. He has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and is set to appear in court in mid August.
