More guns, more money - Off the street!

After a report of suspicious activity from concerned citizens regarding a property in the 4500 block of 200 Street, Langley Strike Force began an investigation and subsequently obtained a search warrant.
There appeared to be activity consistent with drug trafficking occurring at the residence and on July 3rd, a 65 year old male was arrested leaving the residence with numerous pills and over 15 grams of bulk methamphetamine.
Langley Strike Force with the assistance of Drug Section executed a search warrant on the residence on July 4th.
The following items were seized during the search
- Nearly 500 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine
- Several thousand dollars in cash
- Two (2) loaded and insecure long guns
- Miscellaneous drugs and paraphernalia
- Evidence of a credit card factory
The investigation is now continuing in and evidence will be presented to the BC Prosecution Service for their consideration of charges for the occupant(s) of the residence. IT is believed this seizure will have a significant impact on street level drug use in Langley.
