Fight at Penzer Park

Langley residents in the area of Penzer Park became concerned yesterday afternoon when teenagers entered the park concealing what appeared to be a baseball bat.

Officers arrived at the park in the 19800 block of 47th Avenue and found two males who appeared to have been pepper sprayed and/or struck with a bat.

Statements from the parties present indicate the fight was between individuals known to each other. Several suspects have been identified, arrested and released pending further investigation.

None of the participants were transported to hospital for medical treatment. Any injuries sustained appeared to be minor.
