Law enforcement torch run

Tomorrow, June 5, 2019, is the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in North and West Vancouver at 2:30PM.

Law enforcement members and Special Olympics BC athletes will take to the streets with a message of respect and inclusion during the 2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run taking place June 5 at 2:30PM, the event raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics BC’s life-changing year-round programs for people with intellectual disabilities.

North Vancouver RCMP participates each year, together with officers from West Vancouver Police Department in a fun run from North Vancouver RCMP Detachment to the West Vancouver Police Department.

The North Vancouver RCMP's participation in the event is part of a larger, four-day event taking place from June 4-7. During this four-day event, participants will proudly carry the Flame of Hope through 16 Lower Mainland communities. More than 400 law enforcement members and 50 SOBC athletes are expected to participate, including a core team that will run in every leg of the event.
