Welcome Metro Vancouver Transit Police Constable Wes McClinton!

North Vancouver RCMP is excited to welcome Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) Constable Wes McClinton to the North Vancouver Detachment in a newly created partnership between North Vancouver RCMP and MVTP.
This is an exciting collaboration between MVTP and the North Vancouver RCMP, said Supt. Ghalib Bhayani, Superintendent in charge of North Vancouver RCMP.
Constable McClinton will proactively support local crime reduction initiatives in partnership with North Vancouver RCMP officers.
The SeaBus’ Lonsdale Quay Station, which logged more than 6.5 million boardings in 2019, connects to Waterfront Station in Vancouver, the busiest transit hub in the Lower Mainland with more than 13 million boardings last year (information licensed under the Open Government License – TransLink).
Constable McClinton has a BA in Criminology from the University of the Fraser Valley and has served as a Parole Officer with Correctional Service of Canada prior to joining the MVTP.
