North Vancouver RCMP are pretty sure someone's day on the slopes will go a whole lot better if they get their bindings back.
"A pair of bindings was turned in to us recently," said Sgt. Peter DeVries of the North Vancouver RCMP. "Unfortunately, the owner left the bindings in a box on the roof of their car and forgot about them before they drove away. We all have our moments." A witness saw the box fall off and stopped to pick them up, but they were unable to find the driver of the vehicle.

"The owner was probably managing a handful of groceries, or a fussy child, or juggling a tray of coffees they had picked up for their coworkers. It happens," said DeVries. "We all have a lot on our minds. Hopefully we can return these, so the sting of their loss one less thing on the owner's mind."
The owner will need to be able to explain where their bindings parted with their vehicle, on what day, and answer a couple other questions, said DeVries. "It's a fairly unique situation, so we're pretty sure the person who lost them will be able to answer those questions."
The owner of the bindings can contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311, quote file# 2020-26088, and ask for Constable Shadforth.
