Missing man found deceased

Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is advising the public that 76-year-old male who was reported missing on Friday, August 4, 2023 has sadly been located deceased.
On Monday, August 7, 2023, the search for the missing man led police to an area near the Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge border, where the deceased was discovered shortly after 11:00 p.m.
The death is not considered suspicious. Ridge Meadows RCMP is working in partnership with the BC Coroners Service to determine the cause of death.
