Police seeking dash cam footage after pedestrian struck by vehicle

Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking dash cam footage after a pedestrian was struck in a collision that occurred last Friday.

On Friday, September 22, 2023, at approximately 4:20 p.m., police responded to reports of a serious motor vehicle incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a van at 222 Street and Dewdney Trunk Road. Ridge Meadows RCMP General Duty (GD) officers were first on scene. B.C. Emergency Health Services (EHS) attended the scene and transported the pedestrian to hospital, who remains in serious condition.

Police are seeking dash cam footage and/or surveillance video from the area. If you have information for the police, please contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP directly at 604-463-6251.
