Fatal Pedestrian Accident: 9300 140th Street, Surrey BC

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in a motor vehicle collision that occurred on December 3rd, 2016 in the City Centre area of Surrey.

On December 3rd, 2016 at approximately 5:00 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian / motor vehicle collision in the 9300 block of 140th Street. A pickup truck was travelling south bound on 140th Street when it struck a pedestrian. .

The 69 year old male was transported to local area hospital in critical condition with life threatening injuries where he passed away.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor.

The incident is still under investigation.
