Stolen Stumpjumper mountain bike returned to owner

The Williams Lake RCMP are pleased to report that the Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bike that was stolen from the Pinchbeck St. area has been located and returned to the rightful owner.

Cst. KOOGER says that early on Tuesday morning, May 6, 2020, a Frontline officer observed a local individual riding the stolen mountain bike. The individual was arrested for possessing stolen property and the bike was taken into police custody.

Bicycle theft is a very common theft reported to police. We as the Williams Lake RCMP continue to get reports of bicycle theft. The Williams Lake RCMP want to remind the public to please lock up your bikes and when possible to store them indoors.
