At approximately 3:30 am, on Friday, August 24, 2012, the North Vancouver RCMP responded to a complaint of theft in progress in Deep Cove, North Vancouver. The complainant advised that three youths had just broken into their van parked in their carport. From the description provided by the victim the RCMP began an immediate search of the area.

Within a short time, three individuals matching the description were located walking on Strathhaven Drive in Deep Cove. Various stolen property was recovered from the suspects including various credit, identification cards and a cell phone. All of which have been successfully returned to their owners.

Stolen property still needing to be identified are:

  • Two electronic GPS units
     
  • Newer mountain bike
     
  • Digital camera

Arrested and charged for possession of stolen property and theft, are one male and one female, fifteen years old, from North Vancouver. Charged with the same offences and ‘Breach of Conditions’ is a North Vancouver nineteen year old male. The suspect breached his curfew and was in possession of Break and Enter tools.

The North Vancouver RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the remaining stolen property, said Cpl. Richard De Jong of the North Vancouver RCMP.
