Coquitlam - Last Thursday, the community came together with everyone basking in the gentle spring sun at Coquitlam Spirit Square; it was a picture-perfect day for the grand finale of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The roaring of the approaching police motorcycles escort followed by the pounding sounds on the pavement by dozens of runners marked the beginning of the final fundraising event of the Coquitlam RCMP’s Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Office-in-charge of Coquitlam RCMP recognized exceptional performance and bravery

Coquitlam - “Creating strong, safe communities is a group effort – it’s about police and the citizens they serve working together,” said Supt. Wilcott. “So it's a real pleasure for me to recognize the commitment, talent and selflessness of these men and women who have all gone the extra mile for the good of their fellow citizens and the communities we all serve.”
