Hi, my name is Anthony Choy and I am in charge of communications for the Drugs and Organized Crime Awareness Service (DOCAS) in British Columbia. I work with a team of DOCAS coordinators strategically located throughout BC. We are dedicated to the health and safety of all communities through drug prevention. Each coordinator is specially trained to assist communities in developing their Community Prevention Education Continuum (CPEC) for youth.

We know that drugs pose risks to your children and communities. Your children will be offered drugs and it will be important to build protective factors for them so that they can resist the pressures to use these drugs. Knowledge is like having money in your pocket and it is the start of prevention. Our website is designed as a resource for you to gain further knowledge as well as some practical prevention tips. This will enable you to take action to start building protective factors for youth towards a healthy lifestyle.

I believe it does take a community to raise a child. I am excited and proud to be part of the solution by supporting you with some helpful information, resources and prevention strategies.

You can find out more about CPEC, D.A.R.E., the DOCAS Team and the other initiatives within our website.
