Pictures of Nazi Swastikas used to vandalize a local school

In the early morning hours of June 15, 2012 Byrne Creek Secondary School in Burnaby was targeted with graffiti. Burnaby RCMP attended and determined that the graffiti consisted of several symbols related to hate. At this time several persons of interest have been identified. As a result the investigators with the Burnaby RCMP detachment reached out to the BC Hate Crime Team to assist in this ongoing investigation.

Pictures of Nazi Swastikas used to vandalize a local school Burnaby RCMP recognizes the impact these hate symbols have on the Community. These incidents not only impact the Community and the students at Byrne Creek Secondary on an emotional level, but also have a significant financial burden on both the City of Burnaby and Burnaby School District 41. As such, the Burnaby RCMP and E Division Major Crime have committed a number of resources to this investigation as it is considered to be a high priority.
